Bryan Cantwell (1973) is an American photographer based in New York City. He was born and raised in a small town in Oklahoma and has worked as an auto body mechanic, a dog walker, and landscape architect. He has always had an interest in the visual experience of the landscape.
Bryan’s work includes landscape projects in the United States, Spain, China, Thailand, and India. He has served as a subject matter expert for the Asian Development Bank, consulted with the Pakistani government on water issues, and has received a Rockefeller Foundation grant for his continued work on the landscape in Udon Thani, Thailand. He has also served as studio critic at top universities in the United States and Asia.
